I’m still using my phone. I started out a little too early in the morning, in an attempt to solve my issue and had to back away until my circadian rhythm had reached an equilibrium.
What stumps me is that my brother’s laptop is also unable to access FR. I suppose that more or less points to the ISP doing something to FR’s IP address.
I’m in PHX, AZ, and I have COX as the provider.
In a slide... I see that you call IL home. I used to live downstate in Logan County- I 55 exits, 123, 126 & 130.
Also, I was married at the airport in Hinkley, of all places on earth! LOL
Hinkely has an airport? who knew ? I worked in Bloomington for 3 months. The downstaters referred to anything north of I-80 as "The State of Chicago"...too funny.
another Freepr having trouble also has Cox. What is your brother's ISP ?
*** I suppose that more or less points to the ISP doing something to FR’s IP address. ***
I agree.
I'm guessing that also. My ISP is Comcast and they weren't having the problem on their end.
I wonder if Comcast should be flushing whatever to get rid of old cached FR info?
I still think the genesis is in FR. FR is the only common denominator among those of us so afflicted.
Other Freepers with Comcast are not so afflicted.
I pointed the DNSs to google's ip address..still no luck.
Am I pointing to a wrong FR IP address ???
I tracert the FR url and I time out on the 19th hop.

not sure what it means to me or how I do what it says...but I installed a new browser(no history\cache etc) and still had the issue. I'm guessing we are pointing to old FR info like it says...not sure where that old info would be located...
I'm still using the VPN proxy to get around it. Why that works has to mean something...most of the DNS are overseas...
