Good morning, exit.
You’ve nicely outlined exacty what many have been saying and studying about, on the CV Live threads, since mid-January.
This is a nasty, weaponized version of a virus...that is unlike any other strains we’ve seen/fought, before.
It is NOT the common cold (as Rush said), nor is it the common flu (as in...it is NOT likely to die down in warmer weather...see Singapore).
The time to prepare was yesterday. As you said...buy foods/meds that your family normally will eat or use, enough for at least a month....worse case? You have the food/meds/etc in case of store runs (see Italy and China). You will eat/use the items, regardless.
And, you’re right....when has there EVER been a response to a virus, like what we are seeing, worldwide, now?
I pray that this is a call for our drug/vitamin and medical supplies to be brought back to USA, for manufacturing. Why are we trusting a foreign country...with one of our most precious commodities?
I’m just glad folks are finally waking up to potential shortages (think electronics/foods/supply chains for numerous products).
It sickens me to see/hear the response by leftists such as PeLousy, Cryin’ Chuck and even the CDC (what? we don’t have proper testing kits?? But, countries like S Korea are able to test hundreds/day?? Something’s fishy w/CDC...besides the fact that Rod Rosenstein’s sister heads up the respiratory division).
Great info,Jane.
I’ll have to check out the CV thread.
As you know, I pretty much stay on this thread on FR.
The CDC is saying wash your hands, don’t be around sick people, while doctors overseas are saying this virus spreads by air, by coughing or sneezing, even while you are asymptomatic.
In South Korea one woman at a church gathering infected 82 people.
Nice touch that Rod Rosenstein’s sister is at the CDC.
