I wish an electric canner would come out on the market.

Ball makes an electric Water Bath Canner. I’m still too old school to try it though when I can do 36 pints of jelly or tomatoes at once in my water bath canner. My sister has been using it for jellies and jam the last two years and thinks it great. I can do 36 pints of apple butter, tomatoes, etc. in my nesco roaster at one time and can them all at once.

My canner:

Nice canner!

My (water bath canner) is the old school graniteware kind.

I’m going to check out a portable gas burner for canning. I’d be able to use a water bath and a pressure canner that way.

We filled in our inground swimming pool a few years ago, and it’s like having a giant raised bed. Really grows the vegetables!
