Doug Collins is in the House, from Georgia.

He’s the one fighting Nadler all the time on the Non-Judiciary Committee.

He announced that he was going to run for Senate from Georgia, a seat now filled by newly appointed Kelly Loeffler, who also wants the seat. This was the seat vacated by Johnny Isakson, who resigned due to illness.

At his victory event over the impeachment, Trump said he wanted to work something good out between them, to avoid a nasty primary fight.

So, Doug Collins is being nominated to be the head of DNI, Director of National intelligence. This is the role now being held temporarily by Amb. Richard Grenell.
