Dad had shingles. I ran to town and got lysine as soon as I suspected. Thank God he was never in any pain Nurses couldn’t believe it.
It works! Hubby started on it, immediately, as well...among a few other natural supplements/topicals.
Hubby’s pain was minimal, from what I’m hearing. So glad your dear dad didn’t have any pain.
Wish I would have known about Lysine when I had shingles 15 years ago.
Painful stuff. Never had it again and no after affects.
It was on my back and caught too late for anti viral med. The worst was over within a few weeks.
Never want it again!
