Hi Gran....

Bless your heart. I’ve been in bed for the most part for the last couple of days. Still coughing. Everything is closed up here until tomorrow, at which time I’ll call my doctor. I tried a few times last week, but just got his recorded message. Their hours are erratic and they’re only around two or three days a week....socialized medicine! They don’t allow you to leave a message to make an appointment.....tomorrow a walk-in clinic may be open.

It’s our Family Day up here (some stupid made-up holiday by the libs so we have a long weekend in February) and my daughter is having pizza and wings out at the farm. As much as I’d like to go, I don’t want to spread any germs. :(

I’ve been dropping in on the TFT now and again, just not energetic enough to post. Thanks for asking, Gran.

Sad state of affairs that you can’t reach a doctor when you need one.

We sure don’t want or need this for our country.

I know you are drinking plenty of fluids and doing what you can to take care of yourself.

You are being a stinker Judy. I'm nervous now. Please tell us you're going to a a walk-in tomorrow. Our walk-ins are actually better than most doctor offices. They are sharp people that don't already have an idea of what's wrong. SO they listen to people more in my opinion. Listen to their suggestions and go with your gut.

Last time I went I even advised a doctor on what insurance he needed..lol I made a comment on our insurance and he was quite pleased with our coverage. One test my husband just had was $15,000 and after our insurance kicked in our bill was $900.

By the way I bought a book series from Amazon CA recently. They said they didn't have it here in the USA.(old series) but when I purchased the set it was from the US but I had to pay as if it was coming from Canada.LOL

Judy, do you have the $$ to drive (or be driven) into Niagara NY or Buffalo NY for a walk in clinic? It might be worth the time and money if you have the finances to do so. I am sorry you have had this lingering “whatever” same with Jenny., I for one DO UNDERSTAND. Years of being sick make you appreciate when you are finally feeling a little better. Hugs sweetie
