i think it’s been a warm winter, plus We keep having the scenario of heavy rains followed by frosty mornings and then back up to the 50’s. So the plants get nicely hydrated, then covered for a while and they seem to survive that. What I don’t get is why they are actually growing when it’s only in the 50s but I’ll take it.

How tall are your snow drifts?
