Living in a retirement RV community, all the people they know well are also from Portland area and do just what they do, spend winter in AZ, RV around the US or spent summer in OR.

Well that sounds good. Spend the summers in a cool place, and the rest of the time just travel here and there.

I really understand. A BIL got surgery on his eyes without asking around. I really wasn't happy when I heard this. Of all things he chose a locaL EYE DOCTOR THAT WAS GETTING READY TO RETIRE!!! He knew my sister has worked in the medical eye field ever since high school. He has had trouble ever since his operation.

He had a couple of excellent doctors to choose from here locally. One thing that really stands out...he had both eyes done within a couple of weeks! THAT'S a big mistake according to my sister. One gets one eye done and needs to wait and see how the eye heals and what needs to be tweaked on the second eye to make both work together.
