We all knew in real time, while watching Nancy rip up the speech, that this was going to be fodder for memes, videos, campaign ads, etc. Yet she planned it ahead of time and did it, even knowing the speech was uplifting and positive to almost anyone watching. How could she not see her folly?

When one is overcome with body-ripping anger and unspeakable hatred about someone or something, it is liberating to give into that emotion and rip or break something to let loose that anger. One does not think of consequences in such a situation. It is totally understandable.
