The communists have taken over our Education system, and are indoctrinating future generations to the United States by cherry picking the data.

In the full article, Hannah praises Great Britain for ending one type of slavery in most of their colonies. What Hannah forgets is that it was Great Britain that brought the slavery in North America in 1619 on record. This was before the current United States came into existence in 1787.

Furthermore, this was not a race thing, but a "class" thing. The British purchased slaves from Africans and Asians who happened to be of the same skin pigment as their slaves. Both Africa and Asia had slaves dating back to 5,000 B.C. For example, Moses and the slaves in Egypt. It was not just in Egypt too.

Even the word the slave derives from slavic people that were a slave class and skin was white. Slavery was pretty much all over the world at the time, and today it is still around and practiced openly in some parts of Africa and Asia.

There are more slaves today, than there were in the past too. All types of slaves from sex slaves to working class slaves. That is not really being tought while they trash the U.S.A.

What is being taught is cherry picked data to make the U.S. look as bad as possible.

The reason why slaves were not immediately freed is because the Southern Colonies were mainly rural and the economy would collapse if that happened. The North needs States like Virginia, South Carolina and Georgia to defeat the British. The colonies were serfs to Great Britain.Anyhow, I will get off my soap box.

President Trump needs to overhaul the education system in our country. Aside from the Socialist/Communist Globalist curriculum to trash the United States. Students are being educated for a 20th Century economy instead of a 21st.

Yup, and the climate “science” they are taught is even more cr*ppy.
Standard rule 1 of the multiverse: EVERYTHING touched by a liberal/progressive turns to excrement.

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL

This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)

The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.

The first man killed in the revolution was a black man, Crispus Attucks, a PATRIOT! He was a former slave living in Boston.

“In the full article, Hannah praises Great Britain for ending one type of slavery in most of their colonies.”

In 1833, some 57 years after the Declaration of Independence, and 50 years after the signing of the Treaty of Paris, which disproves the 1619 Project’s contention about the cause of the American Revolution.

One major thing to look forward to in Trump’s 2nd term, school reform. It’s a delicate issue that would not play well with low info suburban moms, so it will wait until his re-election.

A black regiment of patriots from Massachusetts stormed the high ground at Yorktown and forced the surrender. They didn’t do it to preserve slavery.

Children In All 50 States Being Taught Revolutionary War Was Fought To Promote Slavery

Ha! It's about time some of you defenders of invasion were put on the same side you try to put the confederates on.

Now maybe you will grasp how it feels to have your entire movement portrayed as being all about slavery and nothing else. I told you the same arguments could be made about the Revolutionary War Patriots as were made about the Confederates.

We all know that their intent was Independence, and that Slavery was not the primary issue motivating them to fight for independence.

A taste of things to come. More propaganda deliberately distorting history.

Most outrageous is the abysmal knowledge of the teachers that bring this BS into the classroom.

How stupid does one need to be to be a teacher?

There were also White slaves in America.

Anthony Washington was a black farmer in mid 17th Virginia that had indentured servants and slaves of both races.

John Casor being one.

During Cromwell's reign of terror in Ireland more Irish slaves were sent to the Carribean than Africans.

At the time of the founding of this country there were more White Christians enslaved in Africa and the ME than Africans enslaved here.

The reporter is honest enough to admit that slavery in America predated the nation’s founding by over 150 years.
——-
It was here long before that, and at an industrial level. Millennia, at least.

The native american population also practiced slavery almost across the board. Seems like academics turn a blind eye to those non black slaves.

a primary cause of the Revolutionary War was the colonists’ desire to protect slavery

No it was about taxes. No taxation without representation.

And they was sick and tired of tyranny.

Your absolutely right. The assertion that our revolution was to protect slavery is not supported by the writings and speeches of our founding fathers. The founding fathers didn’t start slavery in America, they found it here.

Thomas Jefferson, and most of the founding fathers, realized slavery was incompatible with our declarations founding ideology, “all men are created equal...”. They expressed many times in their writings that they wanted to see slavery end and some even joined abolitionist organizations.

The father of our nation himself said this;

“I can only say that there is not a man living who wishes more sincerely than I do to see a plan adopted for the abolition of slavery.”
George Washington letter to Robert Morris 12 April 1786
