the grants and gov money flowing into the associated issues even a century ago was fair large. The skim depended on keeping those monies flowing. The money flow required the oh so heart on sleeve liberal tear jerker prone types to be fully convinced of the post-modern interp of the native Americans being the sainted victim.

Leftists and their idiocies are not new to this century. Those who prey upon and profit from the same are not either.

And, also, a reason behind the hiding of anything strange or differing from the “in the book assumptions” on archaeology, paleontology or anthropology traces back to the Piltdown Man.

“Science” became so embarrassed by that event that for a long time anything unusual that came up was automatically written off as fraud and squashed.

There is still quite a bit of that going on in the above named “sciences”.
