The only way is to remove all the perks. No big salary, no retirement. Work 3 months out of the year. The rest of the time go home and live under the laws you passed.

My father-in-law was in the IL congress and we visited in Springfield. Totally disgusted. What I decided was the problem was that they were required to keep their homes in their districts, so they didn’t have their wives and children around to be aware of their extracurricular activities. I don’t know how you arrange it so the families stay together, but I think that would help.

Amen! POTUS is showing the country and the world what a true statesman looks like! Every child in America (and the rest of us) would do well to listen to Reagan’s and POTUS speeches as mandatory civics lessons.
