Happy 02/02/2020 — likely the only such palindrome we’ll experience in our lifetimes. The last occurred 909 years ago and the next won’t happen until 12/12/2121.

Then there will 1/1/2211, 2/2/2222 (very special), 3/3/2233, ... 9/9/2299, and then similar ones replacing 22 with 33, 44, etc. When we get to five digit years, the first palindromic date will be 10/10/10101 (I think).
