Absolutely... There was once a very viable and possible trade route from Hudson bay to the great lakes and down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico. And possibly even at the end of the Neolithic Period.

that's amazing. another article here on FR yesterday by chance turned me to a map of Estonia - it has a northern coastal city named Tallinn. How close is that linguistically to Tulum? I did a little 'whoa' - makes one wonder...!
