Good overall rundown:
Or feel free to look up specific studies for coronaviruses.
A University Hospital of Geneva study found flu viruses on paper money survived up to 72 hours, but when mixed with human mucus, one Type A strain remained active for 17 days.
These viruses are starting to remind me of Stargate replicators. Lol.
Interesting historical trail on this one here.
Have to wonder what made them look at THESE few cases so early on, out of the THOUSANDS of such cases in a city of 11M in the winter...
I think I read somewhere that the lung CT is unique with the virus, something like a shattered glass look? Maybe thats what prompted them to look into it.
And the CDC is busy jacking off right now, about contract tracing being sufficient.
From the looks on their faces, the dingbat woman is the one who pressed to do that.
I'll bet she was an 0moeba appointee.
(Reading between the lines, China has not been forthcoming with virus samples, as the CDC will only have samples from the US infectees.)
China spurned CDC offer to send team to help contain coronavirus: US Health Secretary
Today, 12:44 PM
Top U.S. health officials this week provided further details on the nation’s “coordinated public health response” to the China-linked coronavirus that’s killed more than 100 people and sickened thousands of others worldwide.
During a Tuesday news conference which included U.S. Health Secretary Alex Azar, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Director Robert Redfield, National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Disease (NCIRD) Director Nancy Messonnier, and National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) Director Anthony Fauci, officials said the outbreak is a “potentially very serious public health threat” in the U.S., but the current risk to Americans remains low. To date, there are five confirmed cases of the novel virus in the U.S.
Azar said the Chinese have refused continued offers from the U.S. to send CDC officials to the country to help with the outbreak response. The offer was first made on Jan. 6, he said, adding U.S. officials have continued to urge more transparency from the country as the disease spreads.

There have been articles published for at least the last two years about Chinese interest in biowarfare.
Given the known location of the BSL-4 lab, and the incident in Canada, it is probably reasonable to assume that the USA and other western nations have established an intelligence gathering capability in that part of the world.
It does seem that CDC and WHO might have known more earlier than they have indicated.
I am willing to cut Western health officials some slack at the moment. I doubt they are part of an active conspiracy to kill off millions of their compatriots.
How about "years of research" looking for just such? Ever since SARS.
This article includes a lot(!) of greenie nonsense, but, the studies are real.

Maybe some Chinese Dr. sent in blood samples for lab testing and somebody at the lab said (paraphrasal) "Hey, Wu, look at this!"
I am pretty sure that aside from contact tracing there is not a helluva lot to do. The CDC cannot shit down air travel (well they might have the authoritybut practically speaking they dont.).
There are a lot of chiefs these days in our global world.

A massive nuclear strike on all of China’s airports would (by definition) help limit the spread to within China. /Aliens movie reference>
Firstly, it took them identifying this, sequencing it and then creating a test for it to even identify it.
So I don’t buy the last statement you typed.
Doctors see HUNDREDS of pneumonia patients in these big commie run hospitals during the winter. There are ELEVEN MILLION people in this city. If this were in a city of say, 10K and the number of pneumonia patients went from say 25 on average to 50 I might buy the ‘wow look at this!’ argument.
This was, early on, a signal detected in the noise.
My question is...why...
Are the doctors in the local hospitals ‘told’ to look for things like this BECAUSE There’s a BL4 level lab in the city?
Correct. And the progressive is projectile vomiting their own sin onto Trump. It’s how they can continue to live with their wretched souls.
I fear we’ve lost 1 and more likely 2 generations of american kids to communism. It’s not if at this point, it’s when. when they outnumber those of us born before 1975ish it’s all over but the shouting.
Answer - They did not detect it until someone high up in the Communist Party got it and said WTF.
Sounds like a perfect bugout place if they did not have mosquitos and heat. Lol.
Guaranteed failure.
They are relying on voluntary reporting of symptoms of those coming back from China who pass initial screening.
Dunno. Possible.
Even then it would just look like ‘pneumonia’.
We’ll likely never know the entire story here. Those in the know have likely bolted to their safe place and/or been stood against the wall...
The 26 states under watch lol. It’s like Obama’s 54 states. Twenty six might as well be All of Them. Hawaii is not even save.
