SHANGHAI (Reuters) - Chinese gaming giant Tencent Holdings Ltd has requested staff to work from home until Feb. 7 to protect employees from the spread of the coronavirus, the company confirmed on Monday.
I have the ability to work from home. But with only 5 confirmed cases in the US, it seems too early to request it.
The problem is that with a 14 day incubation period and contagious before symptoms, we don’t really know how many infected are in the US, and how far it’s already spread.
I’m thinking towards the end of the week, depending on how much it’s spreading in the US, I’ll make the request.
