Currently we are at or near the height of flu season in the US. On any given day most hospitals are running at capacity. Itwon’t take much to swamp the system. But that is true any year

The truth also is that most people in the hospital could be treated at home with medication and family members to care for them. If this hits we may see a strict triage system defining just how ill you have to be to be hospitalized and who can be cared for at home

If this thing hits my area, I’m staying home and riding it out. If I get it, I’m alone, but I don’t care. If I have it, I can help out other people who have it with no worries, depending on my strength. It would be insane to go to the hospital.

Also, as they say, if you really want to get truly sick, just go to the hospital. :-D
