Dad had not yet married her because of age and legal problems.
Dad’s parents had money and could have shipped mom off to where she could have had an abortion at the time.
Thank God, Mom, even as a young girl wanted to keep me! YA-a-a-a!!
Mom turned 14, twenty days after my birth and was married a month later.
The marriage lasted for over 40 years.
