Paid about $4 a mask on Amazon last night. Will have them in a day or two. You all do realize that our medical supplies are mostly made by a country that is stopping production and running out of medical supplies itself. Just sayin....
Not only that, Chinese speculators are buying up all the American masks for resale in China.
And N95 masks have a use by date...I know. I checked mine last night...
You can also use respirator-type cartridge masks with N95 or N100 cartridges.
And I purchased some more N95 facial masks with the embedded exhale valve — makes it much easier to wear the mask while walking or exercising. $2 each in carton of 10.
Yeah, I was surprised how much the ones available on Amazon were. I had ordered 3m disposables that were scheduled to ship 2/3. Found plenty of the same at Home Depot for 30% less. Cancelled the amazon order.
Can these masks be reused day after day? Just wondering how many to order? One for each person in family, or multiples? Not wanting to panic but also just do some reasonable preparedness.
