One time, I was preparing for a trip to Italy and it was high flu season. So, I started with the Zicam. Probably a little excessively.
I lost my sense of taste for about half a day. Thankfully it came back quickly. Something with the zinc gluconate.
True story, not joking.
Can’t imagine being in Italy having lost the ability to taste the food. *shudder* Sounds like a horror novel.
Italy is the last place you would want to lose your sense of taste!
