Coronas were an early photo satellite run by the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) and organization that was declass’ed awhile ago. Coronas were KH (Keyhole) designated and the numbers recycled as they used film that de-orbited. Lotta ‘Corona’ in SoCal, and while the ‘CIA’ was the user, the tie to Corona Airport in Corona Cal is tenuous imo, as Keyhole was the descriptor.
