Your country and mine as well. The taking over of the public education system by the left is what has come to fruition in this past decade or two. Parents too busy working to make ends meet and manage picking up broken pieces of life were too busy to notice the indoctrination of children.

Ditto that many times. I fear for the education the grands in California received. My granddaughter is entering college next year and is thinking about a science field like her mom. The good thing that I heard from her is that she doesn’t plan on voting because she is not informed enough on the issues and doesn’t have time right now to research.
The grandson is just going to start high school, and so far wants to be a maestro, so not that much damage can be done there. He’s the one that, in 4th grade, told me how bad capitalism and corporations are. Scary.
Even if you tell a millenial about the Soviet Union gulag, they say that the Soviets just didn't so "socialism" correctly. Of course they have never heard anything about the tens of millions that were murdered in the Stalinist era.
