One thing we have made sure of..when we went out to feed the stray we feed our guys a small sample of what we took outside. So they associate good with the newbie.

We took cans of cat food in today and turned around ad the pup was carrying one away. She places it between her paws and pulls the tab to open it. Even GRacie Mae knows what’s good. Both the dogs prefer cat to dog food.
