So much of this is payback for impeaching Slick.
Many, on our side, are suggesting POTUS delay his SOTU address (that he accepted just after Nanzi impeached him, probably not thinking she'd sit on the d@mn Articles for so long).
Regarding Slick's impeachment SOTU speech...

Clinton didn’t mention impeachment at all during his more than 78-minute speech on Jan. 19, 1999. Clinton was acquitted on both articles of impeachment a month later....
So, we shall see.
