If the CJ knows there is a case in the pipeline and that he may have to rule on it he may want to keep that comment and name moot He certainly doesn’t want to have to recluse himself from the future case. My guess.
There’s more to this than we know.
We keep resting our hope on that, but...it just keeps getting kicked down the perverbial road of ‘justice/not justice’. Instance after instance, case after case, time after time :(
