I've never had lamb or lamb chops. Are they more expensive than pork chops? We had very little money for meat while growing up. Mom fixed the younger ones..which I was one...a hamburger patty if the other meat was somewhat expensive. We didn't care because we liked a hamburger patty with catsup. A roast, pork chops and salmon patties were special and rare. A turkey was once a year as with a soft drink two shared one. It was our dad who would buy them never mom.

Lamb is Very expensive. But my grandma owned a sheep ranch so we had all the lamb to eat we wanted, at least until she sold the ranch. We used to go salmon fishing once or twice a year so we had that. We didn’t have a lot of money either, but after my sister ran away and eloped when I was 6, there was just the three of us to eat.
When I was working and making good money I ate more lamb than I do now. But it’s easier for me to eat right now, so I’m eating a little more of it.
