Hey, Kansas City Chiefs, you are looking LIV.
Fifty years after their only Super Bowl victory, the Kansas City Chiefs are headed back.
Led by the phenomenal play of quarterback Patrick Mahomes, and a defense that hardened like ice, the Chiefs secured their spot in Super Bowl LIV on Sunday with a 35-24 victory over the Tennessee Titans in the AFC Championship Game at a frigid-but-rollicking Arrowhead Stadium.

LOL, Hank would have gotten in a lot of trouble today for that “Chinese Fire Drill” comment.
I’m 60 years old and have waited for this for 50 years.
Go Chiefs.
Go Chiefs!!!!! I’ve been waiting 30 years, since I first moved to KC. Classy fans!!
LOL. Yep.
I want a rematch of the first AFL-NFL World Championship Game (even before it was called Super Bowl I).
The Chiefs uniform is the best in the NFL, great color scheme.
I always know what Super Bowl it is because that is how old I am.
(yes I made it about me)
I can never remember what Super Bowl we are seeing, year by year.
I wish they would refer to the years, such as calling a Super Bowl, the “2020 Super Bowl” for this year, or talk about what happened in “the 1995 Super Bowl”, instead of talking about how it’s Super Bowl whatever Roman numeral.
Can you imagine if baseball talked of “World Series CII” instead of whatever year the 102nd World Series was played in?
All I know is my Lions have never been in one.
"I threw my TV away in 1985."
Oh my God, he’s drinking a Fresca!
Fresca and a cig ....perfect halftime pick-me-up.... ha ha.
He’s still alive, he was still announcing Chiefs games up to a few years ago, but haven’t heard much lately from him.
Yes, the Lions, and I believe Cleveland Browns, won NFL championships before the Super Bowl era, but have never won or been to Super Bowls since the NFL/AFL merger.
It’s for comments like that, is a reason why I loved him. No PC there.
PC makes me want to puke.
It’s for comments like that, that I loved him.
Way back in the day I was intern at WDAF TV 4 KCMO and a production assistant for the Hank Stram show. It was a great 3 months. I remember that we would have a special guest each week. One time it was Len Dawson, I kid you not I watched him comb his hair for about 15 minutes.lol Another time we had all the cheerleaders on. That was Jaw dropping. I didnt think it would have taken 50 years to get back to the SB though.
Great red uniforms for the Chiefs and MAGA Mahomes.
If the 49ers win, it will be the first SB between 2 teams whose primary color is red. All that red may make lib heads explode!
So who cursed Cleveland.
I know the Bobby Layne Curse is real.
