I’d be curious to see his books. As I understand, he’s got about $30 million Diana Dollars, which is about what the house costs. They won’t have British state money if they aren’t royals. So, how do they fund that? An ultra jumbo mortgage?
I’m sure they won’t get ANY preferential health care treatment either. They’ll fit in just fine in British Columbia - it’s just northern California.

My response to you said “Vancouver Island to be specific.” However, the beachfront villa in North Saanich may not be the residence they want. Whether it is Vancouver Island, Vancouver BC or Toronto, it looks like the Windsors are doing house shopping. I would think the west side of Canada would be the best place for Meghan’s trips to Hollywood. I would prefer Vancouver Island because of its beauty and that gem of a city, Victoria. Vancouver BC is filled with homeless and heroin injections sites.
One question is the costs of security on the island. High security costs the Canadian government is reluctant to finance. To make good with the government, I am sure they are considering a place considering the least security costs. Vancouver Island may be that place.
