I had to do a double take because, reading that people are being tricked into a kill box made me think, “DON’T GO it’s a TRAP!”. It was automatic.

I, too, was questioning why the Commonwealth’s guv chose to build a perimeter wall rather than (and still not) provide adequate facilities and protection.

Intimidation.

In my fourth-grade, rural Virginia, classroom, each of us was tasked with memorizing and reciting Patrick Henry’s words, “What is it that gentlemen wish? Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! But as for me — give me liberty, or give me death!”

This is exactly the choice before us all on Monday in VA.

I’m so impressed that they began teaching this exquisite exposure of the real “bargain” being made when choosing the “sweetness of peace” over risk and uncertainty. THANKQ
