Otherwise I would have gone to see 1917.....and been on the edge of my seat!
I still intend to see it!

I need to hear more about 1917 also. Anyone with a review (but not any giveaways on plot) please PM me. Thanks!

The direction is taut and the cinematography was good, some of the CG was annoying as was some of the language. Acting was great, the story was somewhat predictable but worthy of a movie. Starts with Colin Firth and ends with Benedict Cumberbatch. Yes, go and see it.

Re: the movie 191

Hubby and i went to see it last week He loves war movies. Me, not so much. I was surprised to see the theater almost full - with both old and young people - at 2:00 pm on a weekday. It’s based on a true story. Very intense...so much so that I had to get up and “go to the bathroom” at one point. I probably cut the blood off of my hubby’s hand from squeezing it so tight. Although I did not “enjoy” it, I high recommend it. It gave me a new appreciation for the sacrifice our military makes. God bless them all and God bless America.
