The Karankawa Indians down on the Texas coast were cannibals. They were finally made extinct in the late 1800’s. They were attacking and eating people as late as the Civil War. Why would anyone think the Indians that met Columbus wouldn’t be cannibals?
When you have a taste for ribs, you have a taste. And only ribs will do.
