It wasn't a statement to us..it was ONE to their people who want change of leadership

I'll respectfully disagree.

The early silence, then the "No, we won't release the Black Box" and the absolute silence out of the Iranian people/media since (JMHO) say it was an accident and everybody in the country just wants it to go away.

I could almost hear the "Oh, ****" when I saw that first little video.

I thought as you at first until I saw the log of people on the plane and their were no American's on board. the there were many other planes waiting delayed. I guess we'll never know. Do you happen to know if the recording on the box is only between the pilots and ground? I wonder what nationality the pilot was? Would that be possible to figure out by the list?

NIKK..I'm posting these in order to view them.

Earthquake Monitor #Earthquake M5.0 Southern Iran 7mins ago 8 Jan 02:20 UTC - report/info:

Technically there isn't one single "black box" on each plane. Instead, there are two parts — the flight data recorder (FDR), and the cockpit voice recorder (CVR).

THERE are some interesting facts about black boxes and how they record plane data.( Flight data recorders and cockpit voice recorders, or FDRs and CVRs.)

Technically there isn't one single "black box" on each plane. Instead, there are two parts — the flight data recorder (FDR), and the cockpit voice recorder (CVR). During a flight, the FDR tracks information about the plane itself, like its direction and speed, while the CVR records audio of the crew's conversations, radio transmissions, engine sounds, and alarm noises.

Sometimes they can be combined together in one unit, but they are often two separate devices.(Information is stored on a memory chip inside a small portion of the device called the Crash Survivable Memory Unit (CSMU).

The cockpit voice recorder only registers the last two hours of audio and re-records over itself in a continuous loop. The plane's flight data recorder, however, can store up to 25 hours of information about the plane's position, speed, fuel levels, and more during a single flight.

The flight data recorder is required to monitor a minimum of 88 different stats every second.

Black boxes are placed in the airplane's tail because that's where the least damage will occur.

NIKK..husband just told me the DEMS are blaming our President for the downing of the plane. Because Iran wouldn't have shot off that missile if we hadn't killed their General.

Thank you..you really have me thinking and learning about the black boxes. We hear how advanced Iran has become with their missiles...Would the height of the plane at the time it lite up...be about the height of the missiles? And if it was equipment failure wouldn't it not have the looks of explosion as in several videos? I'm so not knowledgeable of plane crash information.
