I see that Mike Lee is joining with The Bern to have something pass that says the president can’t go to war without congress, or some such thing. I’m confused, as I thought that was already the law.
Judy, Mike Lee is embarrassing himself.
Only the Congress can declare war, and that last happened on Dec. 8, 1941, a day after Pearl Harbor.
We have that, plus the War Powers Act passed in 1973.
There must be something in the water in Utah.
