Why do pear trees produce big, juicy, delicious fruit with embedded seeds?

So that animals and people will EAT them, and some seeds will pass through the digestive system and be deposited on the ground surrounded by natural fertilizer. The fruit IS to be eaten. The pear tree is happy that you enjoyed the pear. Now spit the seeds out on the ground. The pear tree is happy that you helped it produce little pear trees. No screaming. Liberals are insane.

There are seeds that require fire and some that need a digestive track to prepare them to sprout.

And it all works together!
