Trump Derangement Syndrome Skyrockets Over Soleimani

Roger L. Simon

FTA:
It’s worth remembering Soleimani was in charge of all these operations at once, a veritable superstar of terror.

On top of all this, he had as much influence as anyone in keeping the Syrian Civil War alive. Current death (under)count: 400,000. Number of refugees: 5.7 million. He may have changed Europe as we knew it forever.
...
Meanwhile the Democratic candidates are demonstrating uniform cowardice in the face of the action. Is there one of them you would want to have beside you in a foxhole?

David Petraeus: Eliminating Qasem Suleimani More Significant than Killing Bin Laden or Al-Baghdadi

“It is impossible to overstate the importance of this particular action. It is more significant than the killing of Osama bin Laden or even the death of [Islamic State leader Abu Bakr] al-Baghdadi,” he said in an interview with Foreign Policy magazine.

Petraeus said President Trump had effectively reestablished the idea any Iranian attack against American targets would be met with considerable force.

Democrats still delusional about Trump even after Qassem Soleimani: Goodwin

.....as defense specialist Michael Doran wrote in The New York Times, the fear of war “ignores the fact that Mr. Soleimani has been waging war on America and its allies for years.”

The latest example was the attack on our embassy in Baghdad, carried out by groups allied with Iran. That is the sort of dirty work Soleimani specialized in — getting Arab Muslim proxies to fight and die for Iran’s goal of regional dominance.

....Sen. Elizabeth Warren called the killing of Soleimani “reckless” and said “our priority must be to avoid another costly war.”

Their approach makes a virtue of weakness and invites further attacks. Of course we should try to avoid war, but passivity in the face of evil has never yielded a durable peace.....

This “Iranian” conflict is the “proxy civil war” between the Deep State and America.

It is easy to feel rage bubbling up over such facts. Wish we had a verbally applied vaccine against liberal absurdities & brainlessness.

Really good summation of why this guy had to go. I had no idea. He was behind everything from roadside bombs in Iraq to the crushing of Lebanon to the missilading of Israel, to the Syrian civil war to the 5.7 million refugees.
