Don't know if your friend has heard of the famous Fine Line Between Dedication and Dumbsh**s but then I'm not a GT grad and don't know if that's in their syllabus.
(Got strong hints on the subject at all three of my schools and really got it preached by my first Leading Chief...Naval Aviation ain't the place for anyone doesn't very carefully tread around reality.)

My unfortunate friend just can’t stop himself from overdoing.
On the plus side, he has a 10 year-old pickup that looks like it’s still on the showroom floor.
