When I was just entering U of Chicago, my niece came to stay with us for the first time. The most adorable little one that took my heart and never let go of it. She couldn’t pronounce Mary, so made a whole bunch of tries that became my user-ids from the 1970s onward. Because whenever I stop and look at my name, I remember her and smile. And that lightened the work just that needed little bit. (waving to bitt) OH! She became a grandmother at 5pm yesterday afternoon for the very first time. Smart daughter saw the tax clock ticking. It’s going to be a wonderful New Year for us all.
