Sydney went ahead with their fireworks.

Talked to son and he said fire is about 3 miles from their home and his in-laws home in Apollo Bay AU, said fire is moving slow, didn’t seem too worried.

Course, they now are living in Vancouver, BC.

The town of Mallacoota in Victoria state was devastated, people fled to the beach.
