It always has amazed me how often and easily my friend whose husbands family are still in Iran travel back and forth. Like I said earlier his siblings all have green cards. There is usually one family member who visits each summer. Because of his mother he’s visited there three times this year. They are educated people and were somehow connected well during the reign of the Shah. (Middle class by our standards). All speak English. Have been told They hate their current government but keep those feelings close to chest to survive.
Going back and forth, I’d be afraid the Iranians would arrest them as spies for our country.
