1- Those who have been following me for awhile would recall my tweets about attacks on oil tankers and Saudi oil facilities in which I argued that rogue elements in the Iranian regime do not want any hint of negotiations between the US and Iran,
2- hence the attack on Japanese and Japan bound tankers while the Japanese prime minister was visiting Tehran to mediate between Iran and the US. The attacks on Abqaiq and others were intended to make sure that negotiations will not happen.
3- at the same time, it is the same group that is derailing settlement in Yemen? is it possible that this group has been identified by all sides, and therefore is being eliminated, one by one?
In a sense, the US is doing the Iranian people a favor if this leads to negotiations?
