They’ve got small weights distributed evenly to make the blanket heavy on you. I saw one advertised on tv and my son bought one and he says it’s lovely. He says it puts you into a deeper sleep - says it’s like getting a hug while you sleep. They say it’s great to settle anxiety, some people with PTSD swear by them.....I just wanted to stay warmer all night lol.
I read the reviews on Amazon - mostly positive. If y’all don’t hear from me again, it killed me in the night.

I myself can have NO weight on my body..can barely handle a hug. I'm very sensitive to any pressure on my bones. My favorite blanket I found two years ago is by Eddie Bauer with sherpa shearling material. Its light weight and very warm.
