With the new evergreen card that’s good through out the state renewal is easy. Just show your DL Good at any state library.
But I don’t think you need a card to buy. They’ve never asked for one. Otoh I’m there frequently and know the staff.
I have even donated books for their sales Some were ones I bought there.
