You lost your dad in 2001 too?

Daddy was in the hospital for his 85th birthday, he had pneumonia and died 8 days later.

I was blessed to have him that long.

Mine was 86.

I was grateful to have him so long, and in his right mind.

Mom died in 2011, almost 94, but had dementia in her remaining years. Stuck in a loop in 1941. Sad.
