Last I checked, the term “week” was pretty well defined. It gives them the chance, in the public’s eyes, to put up or shut up. After that, time’s up.
Rejecting just the prospect of even a consideration of an impeachment vote isn’t very likely to fly in court, anyway.
Not looking to flame you, but the “courts” have ruled numerous times both the U.S. House of Representatives & the U.S. Senate make their own rules. Impeachment is 100 percent Political Process, not criminal or civil process.
