Trump, who was calling for a full-blown trial with multiple witnesses — including former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter — just three weeks ago, now supports the Senate leadership’s plan.

Of course POTUS would say, loudly, he wants his full day in court. But that was always just for show, or in case the quick no-witness version were to be blocked by Pierre Delecto et al.

Clearly it is in the best interests of the President and of the United States of America to end this in the Senate, quickly, before the RATs find a way to cloud the issue even more.
