As predicted; IMO the Dems are attacking the separation of powers by attacking it with repeated impeachments. If they can weaken executive privilege they can ensnare any POTUS as a servant to the will of the House majority (by threat of Impeachment) thus transmuting our Constitutional Republic into a parliamentary system, where political power rests with the House majority
Nancy.Pelosi has claimed that she is as powerful as POTUS. (She also said that those who did not vote Dem were going to pay.) By weaponizing impeachment - as they have weaponized so many other govt functions - they hold the threat of the stain of impeachment over the head of every POTUS.
Rush is now saying, as many of us here have been saying, we are in a battle to preserve our Republic and our freedom.
Now we know why the Chinese expression, “may you live in interesting times”, is a curse, not a statement of well wishes. These are interesting times indeed.
