I agree with that. He certainly had some kind of connections.

I lean more towards Epstein being an agent rather than an asset, as Kitj put it. He came from pretty humble beginnings.

From Wikipedia:

Pauline [his mother] worked as a school aide and was a homemaker. Seymour Epstein [his father] worked for the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation as a groundskeeper and gardener. Jeffrey Epstein was the older of two siblings. Epstein and his brother Mark grew up in the working-class neighborhood of Sea Gate, Coney Island, Brooklyn.

Epstein started his career as a math teacher. After a few years he’s a multi-billionaire ‘financier’. It doesn’t seem likely that he became a billionaire all on his own. Don’t know how he first started running with the elites but it sounds more like he was set up by others to fulfill his purpose rather than him being an independent actor.
