***minute doesn't seem like a long time - it is if you just want to wash your hands***
A problem here... takes quite a while to get 'hot' to a faucet {I moved the unit outside a few years ago.} With the factory lower temp setting it takes even longer and almost not worth waiting for.
About The fittings didn't match - seems to be a modern phenomenon... little standard hardware so that you need a licensed specialist and have to buy expensive proprietary stuff. The do-it-yourself life-of-Riley yokel -[me]- is becoming obsolete!
***My better angel is pleased - who could ask for anything more?***
You got it, Ben Hur! 😂

Unit was the same unit made by the same people only the 2019 version. How nuts is that?
Back in the day, if you bought stuff at Sears, you were stuck with their fittings.
There are some instant-on electrical water heaters that are at the specific appliance - one for the kitchen sink, one for the bathroom sinks etc...
oh well...off to other things...Texas grandkids coming to town today...
If I'd have known how much fun grandkids were going to be, I would have been nicer to their parents.
FreeRegards.
