No. Impeachment happens in the house. Removal happens after a trial in the Senate.

Based on your definition ,no President has been impeached.

Correct, no President has been impeached. Three Presidents have been voted for impeachment.

Impeachment is a ***process*** that results in removal from office. If the removal was never performed, the impeachment process was never completed.

The trial in the Senate determines whether the impeachment process is successful or a failure.

The most that can be said of Trump’s enemies is they successfully voted to impeach (indict) him but we will see their effort will have failed in the Senate, therefore he was not removed and their attempted impeachment not only failed but resulted in their own arrests and convictions.

Michael LeBron, an extremely sharp and successful Trial Attorney agrees with my take and extends it further.

This is therefore lawyer speak but we may say to the howling loons of the left who scream he is impeached, no the impeachment articles FAILED (upon acquittal), therefore the process of impeachment was a bust and President Trump is innocent. He is not an impeached President, he is a President that suffered a failed impeachment attempt by his enemies.
