Just watched the President in the Army locker room.

Evidently, he has just changed (or proposed to change) the regulation such that, in the future, a service academy athlete who has the opportunity to go professional will be allowed to defer military service until after his pro career.

Makes sense to me, although Roger Staubach made it work the other way.

POTUS joked to the Army coach that with this change, he should “Never lose another game.”
